THE KEY TO LIFE ON EARTH BY DECLAN MCKENNA

Oh, to have a cosmic door covered with brown dream catchers that could let you travel between the different realities that exist. Oh, to be able to traverse these trails between the different realities at any time depending on your own will. That would be so astonishing, wouldn't it? But what if we tell you that this doorway does exist! It's all a miracle of our minds. It lets us get lost in our thoughts, drown in the ocean of memories and confusion. But, did you know that inside this space exists another version of you? That little voice you are reading in right now belongs to that projection of you inside your psyche. But what if that person were to step out of its reality (that exists in your head), enveloped in a mystical air into YOUR reality? This music video, though open to a number of interpretations, tries to present the course of actions that will happen if what we just proposed happens. You would feel somewhat safe right? Having someone by your side all the time, be it while you are sleeping, eating, or even brushing your teeth. Having someone who will accompany you everywhere and will take care of your life as if it's theirs. You'll have someone to always turn to when your life gets tough. But what if, this very voice turns against you? Declan McKenna was able to capture and present this anomaly of the human mind in a very bewitching manner.

OVERDRIVE BY CONAN GRAY

The only thing in this world, which does not have any limits, is our imagination. Nothing’s impossible there. You can fall in love with a girl at first sight, who is sitting opposite to you at a railway station, and then you both can go on to become soulmates, enjoying the beauty of life and savouring all the small bits of euphoria and exuberance it has to offer. This is exactly what is exhibited in the video of the Conan Gray song “Overdrive.” As a train is about to pass by in front of the singer, his eyes fall on a girl and he gets infatuated by her. Having his earphones on, music further helps him to enhance his imaginative world, where he is madly in love with the girl. Living in the moment, doing the craziest of things, and making memories of all that they do. It’s his dream life – he has a lover and he is in a happy relationship with someone who loves him for who he is.

Fantasy can be surreal but it isn’t the truth. He comes back to his senses and everything’s gone- dancing in a food van, eating in luxurious restaurants, diving into swimming pools, cycling on the streets, making love on the bed, and feeling the fresh air in an open-roof car. He sees the girl standing there in front of him being nothing but a stranger. Loneliness is a dangerous thing. It can drive a person insane. To leap out from his sad world, he creates all these illusions in his mind. In reality, he is a person devoid of love and desperately wants to feel it. The song is relatable for the dreamers and the hopeless romantics across the world, who fall in love with strangers and create their own reveries. The song has an unmatchable vibe, which makes you automatically fall in love with it. The video is extremely natural and the artist has produced something so majestic, that it soothes the hearts of the listeners.

BEAUTIFUL BY BAZZI FEAT. CAMILA CABELLO

This song is the perfect song to dedicate to your lover. The lyrics are beautifully written and the visuals are stunning. There exists nothing dreamier than the alluring world of fairy tales. The music video very subtly surrounds itself with this ethereal air. it sends us into a world where an angel (played by Camila) comes to a ball wearing a pretty mask. On seeing the angel, Bazzi is struck by her beauty. He tries to get close to her but is initially unable to close the distance between them. We see that at one point, both stand with a glass case between them that is filled with dainty and delicate fauna. Later in the music video, both are transported to the same world encompassed with emerald enormity as they hold hands. Hasn't this ever happened with you? 6 hours feel like 6 minutes when you are with the one you love. You are perplexed, you don't know where the time went. It is in those moments of warmth and endearment, that you are transported to this safe and beautiful place with just you and the one you love. But it's inevitable everything that's good comes to an end. Spring has to leave one day, the sweets made by your grandma have to be completely devoured till there's none left, lovers have to part ways, Cinderella has to leave the ball as soon as the clock strikes 12. This is exactly how the video ends, the angel leaving and the fairy tale ending.
