Dua Lipa is an English musician, songwriter and role model. Lipa was born in London to Albanian parents from Kosovo who left Pristina in the 1990s. She attended part-time Sylvia Young Theater School before moving to Kosovo with her family in 2008. Lipa grew up listening to her daughter, the singer Dukagjin Lipa. It was her inspiration. She quickly achieved fame in 2015 after she signed with the Warner Music Group, shortly after she released her first song, New Love. Her second single, Be the One, also released in 2015 as part of her self-titled debut album, reached the top ten in more than eleven EU countries. Lipa's success grew steadily between 2015 and 2018. By 2018, Dua Lipa had become the first female artist to reach 1 billion YouTube views on her hit New Rules single. Two years on, the Revised Laws have more than 2 billion.

‘Fever’ is a song by the English singer Dua Lipa and the Belgian singer Angèle from the digital reissue and French version of the former studio album Future Nostalgia (2020). The song was composed by the two artists alongside Caroline Ailin, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Julia Michaels, and producer Ian Kirkpatrick. It was released for digital release and streaming on 29 October 2020 by Warner Re. Musical reviewers complimented the sultriness of "Fever" and the combination of the vowels of Lipa and Angèle. The album was also in the top ten charts in Hungary and Switzerland, as well as the Belgian and French charts in Flanders and Wallonia. The track has peaked at 79 on British Singles Chart and 69 on the global 200 charts on Billboard. In Belgium and France, it has been certified with platinum and gold. We are from L.A. was responsible for the music video for "Fever" And in London, it was filmed. It features the two vocalists who spend the night in a club wandering the streets of the area. The single was funded by Lipa and Angèle.

We are from L.A. was credited for the music video for "Fever" And in mid-October 2020, shot in London. The footage was taken over three days, shot all night and the only time it reached Lipa and Angèle in person was to shoot the video. The stereotype behind her definition is how women have to live in their homes at a certain time to escape the dangers of the street but have a protective aspect while they are surrounded by other women. The visuals have been cast by all women. The Sun announced on 15 October 2020 that Lipa had 'flopped' laws on the COVID-19 pandemic, and police have been raided following their complaint by the set The Sun. Released as a single from the Bonus Edition of Future Nostalgia, this song finds Dua Lipa flustered and feverish around a love interest.
