Busting stress within four walls: Part 2

4. Workout & Meditation:

The lockdown has pushed us all towards new challenges and difficulties and one of them is the increasing load of the body and mind. Endless presentations, meetings, assignments and work have put a hold on our daily dose of activity and movement. If you can relate to this situation and are currently debating on starting a new resolution of exercising and meditating, don't worry, as we have got you covered!

A workout is not necessarily dull and boring and can be made fun and thrilling too. We all get hyped up to an upbeat Punjabi song, don't we? Then why not add it to your dance workout routine! Zumba is one of the great options to start with to build an effective exercise regimen. A Zumba workout is not just a great way to keep your body fit and healthy but also gives you a happy shot of the "feel-good" hormones as you can dance your heart away.

Looking after the mind is as important as looking after the body. Don't forget to shut your laptop and phone screens for at least half an hour a day to take out time for the well-being of your mind and soul. The screen that you have been staring at for hours needs to be shut for a while and put aside, oh wait! But only after you have read this article as we assure you that it will be worth it. Meditation is an immensely helpful tool that will help you look after your precious little mind overburdened with exhausting and never-ending work! As they say, "Quiet the mind and the soul will speak", so go grab your yoga mat and inhale positivity, hold it in and let it work its magic and finally exhale the toxicity out.

5. Cooking & Baking:

Are you fed up of the never-ending workload and are surviving on Maggi? Are you having late night cravings but are broke to afford that large pizza? Well, then you have landed at the right place as we have the perfect solution for you!

Cooking and Baking are perfect ways for you to mash the stress, crush the anxiety and roast the fear-provoking thoughts. Cooking and Baking can work like therapy if done right, and do not require fancy ingredients to cook up a great meal. One can use the simplest of ingredients and follow the easiest recipes to whisk up a heartwarming meal. We have shortlisted a few lip-smacking yet simple recipes for you. Why fear baking when you can try a 1-minute microwave mug-cake which is the perfect mid-night snack for all the sweet lovers out there! The perfect dish to grab during hectic and exhausting meetings is a simple and healthy salad. Get creative, throw in your favourite ingredients and cook up a delicious salad right now! Try levelling up your regular toast to the standard of a mouth-watering bread pizza. All you need to do is smother a slice of bread with veggies, seasonings, and lots of cheese and bake it within 2 minutes with just a bit of butter to make your life better!
