Busting stress within four walls: Part 1

Is college, work or simply the boredom of sitting on your couch all day stressing you out? If so, then you've come to the right place. We bring to you 7 easy and fun ways of busting stress within the four walls of your home!

1. Spotify & Netflix:

Want to notch up your house parties or need a shoulder for gloomy days? Spotify can be the friend that you didn’t know you needed until now. It is a one stop for all your music needs to all your quirky moods. With features like the ‘Discover Weekly’ playlist, every Monday, 30 new songs that you've probably never heard of are added, but you'll probably love them because they're chosen based on your current listening habits. Although it's a great way to sift and even create your own across all these playlists, Spotify has sharing features that even make playlists social.

Bored of your regular T.V. soap dramas? Want to catch up with the trending pop-culture references or need something to binge watch while you binge eat a bag full of potato chips in the middle of the night? Netflix is a streaming service focused on subscriptions that allows everyone to watch TV shows and movies on an Internet-connected computer without commercials. The architecture of Netflix promotes browsing - there are so many distinct categories to look at ranging from timeless award winning classics to silly teen dramas, continue scrolling through shows and movies within those categories. To help you cut down on this, we suggest you build a watch list. Thus, it is a great platform to binge-watch your favorite shows and bust out stress.

2. Indoor Games:

Who could have guessed that a piece of cardboard and a few plastic tokens would result in a room full of laughter, increased brain activity and creativity? Board games have been an age old tested and proven remedy to boredom and stress when you’re stuck indoors. So blow off the dust of your discarded uno cards or ludo and carrom boards and have a fun afternoon with your fam!

But if you’re not into board games, we still got you covered. Variety of online games such as Ludo King, Outlast, GTA online, Call of Duty, Valorant and much more could provide you with the much required adrenaline rush and excitement.

3. Art, Craft & Duolingo:

They say that it’s never too late to get yourself a new hobby or brush up your old ones. Take this as a sign for rediscovering your lost passion. Take the guitar lessons you always wanted, vent out your emotions through paint on a canvas, or amuse yourself with a short horror story. While you’re at it, give that passive aggressive green ‘Duolingo’ owl a chance to teach you a new language so that you could surprise your friends the next time you meet them, with a curse word that they do not know and get away with it.

Ahh, Duolingo brings back memories. I might really need to go back to my old stress busting activities. I'll try to make time for them
